You’ll Need Your Very Own Site If You Wish To Generate An Income Online

Wednesday, November 30th, 2011

Now, we will begin to talk about generating an income online. This means having a web business. Even though there are some strategies to generate income while not having a site or even a product, much like working from home using Google AdWords and affiliate marketing programs. We all, still, need to have our very own Internet site to indicate that we really are a successful online business, along with a home business site.

It is rather similar to any conventional business. You ‘must’ have a company name as well as a location intended for your business. Doing an online business, you have to have a domain address as well as some sort of web server to host your site. You never know it may be another eBay or perhaps Google. Just ignore free of charge web hosting services; find a dependable Internet hosting service. Having a free of charge site as well as free of charge hosting should not be taken into consideration for any company website.

You have no more than a few seconds or perhaps under 10 seconds to get the particular visitors’ interest. Should you fail, then they will be gone. Additionally, if you confuse visitors, chances are they will be out of there also. You need to produce a site which men and women would like to browse.

Do not forget that domains will be distinctive – simply no 2 websites can own the same domain name. Many hosting providers include a domain name along with online payment, included in the Internet hosting. Benefiting from such an offer is the easy method to make the most of your home business website.

Many reasons exist why you ought to select the right web hosting service. Most crucial, it should be beneficial for your Internet business. If you do not sign up for a program which offers you all of the right tools to manage your Internet business, you may not have the ability to bring in and also keep a faithful customer base, for you to increase your Internet business.

Consider this, you are a website visitor to another website. Precisely what are you looking for and why do you remain there? Any Internet sites style should be captivating and very easy to the readers eyes. Consider your website visitors. Visualize yourself! Ordinarily, your Internet site ought to be clean, distinct, and also appealing. Pictures work well together with a text message when you’re introducing your merchandise.

Site navigation ought to be constant throughout each page of the site. Benefit from a web template, to create an organized format and also a navigation plan that is definitely consistent for every web page of your respective Internet site. Verify to make sure that not one of the links are damaged. While adding fresh links to the navigation bar, make sure it’s added on each and every web page. Don’t forget non working links can be harmful on your home business.

Safety is additionally an important feature supplied by Internet hosting services, and this is another case in point of how a web based business could get more from the right Internet hosting company. In case an online business can’t assure consumers that it’s secure to enter their particular private information on the businesses website, there is likely to be a number of people who will not take the risk. Specifically on the subject of their particular banking information – credit card numbers and also bank account information – safety is critical.

Best of the Janes: Gaining a Deeper Understanding of Your Ideal Customer

Sunday, November 27th, 2011

When a female entrepreneur sets out to get to know her ideal customer – and therefore increase her business and customer loyalty – she will achieve greater success if she follows several specific guidelines:

1. Get to know “the” ideal customer, as well as what he or she needs and wants – and then learn even more about him or her to hone in marketing materials and develop new products and services.
2. Ask compassionate questions. In general, female entrepreneurs genuinely want to help their customers. They want to provide solutions to their customers’ challenges or help their customers achieve their dreams. To best serve her customers, then, a female entrepreneur must ask them open-ended questions that truly seek to uncover their greatest challenges, to elicit a deep understanding without creating judgments (entrepreneurs must take care to ask questions in a way that do not bias the results, but instead elicit the “real” answer to their questions).
3. Be an effective listener. When a customer shares information with an entrepreneur, the entrepreneur must listen with an open mind, with the intention of developing empathy by stepping into the customers’ shoes.
4. Integrate customer understanding into the business at every step along the way. Make customer understanding an ongoing part of the business decision-making process. In other words, an entrepreneur will better meet her customers’ needs (and therefore grow her business) by basing any decision, product, service and price on what she knows to be true about her ideal customer.
5. Temper customer understanding with understanding of self. Entrepreneurs who build their businesses around what serves their customers AND what serves their own hearts, find far more personal fulfillment, and therefore love their businesses, which lets their passion shine through. For example, an entrepreneur who is terrified of public speaking shouldn’t let her customers talk her into public speaking if she’d far rather write her material – in that case, her passion wouldn’t shine through in public speaking and she wouldn’t serve her customers as well.

As women business owners seek to grow their businesses, they must get to know their customers – and well – while remaining true to their own hearts. By following the above guidelines, female entrepreneurs can grow their businesses while fueling their passions.

Would you like fries and a coke with your cheeseburger?

Saturday, November 26th, 2011

If you are an internet marketer you have to think about how much profit you will make from every customer that visits your shop. Which could be by visiting your squeeze page, website or blog no matter how they head in your direction you have to see the full picture.
Take McDonalds as an example a customer will walk into one of their restaurants with the sole intention of purchasing a cheeseburger to eat as they walk around their local town. That is all that they want as they walk towards the serving counter but then the sales assistant will be ready with the upsell. They will ask them if they want chips with it along with a drink. Some customers will turn they down flat because they just don’t want the extras whilst other people will be tempted. The funny thing is that nobody actually mind’s this upsell and dont think of it as hard sell.
However if you went down your local electronics store it would be a total different story. You would be hounded to the point where you wanted to make a swift exit because they were trying to force on you their latest insurance policy that you know full well that you don’t need. You are also fully aware that the only reason they want you to take up the offer is because of their commission and without it their salary is very low.
So these are two examples of upsells one that is welcome the other that is really hated but the question is do your customers love or hate yours?
For example there is nothing wrong with offering an upsell when someone joins your mailing list or goes to purchase one of your products but it must blend in with what they are already interested in. If you are offering upsells via your followers on Twitter create a twitter based product that people can buy after they have joined your mailing list.
At the end of the day if you offer something of value people will buy it time and time again then go on to recommend you to others. This is your sole aim and with an upsell you can seriously add to your online income. Another reason for it is if a customer has just visited you they have done so for a reason and it is a great way to get repeat sales from them. They already have their wallet out and you are simply sending them to one of your amazing offers and the discount is too good to miss.
But only offer the one during each upsell – if you offer more than one a customer will get sick of it and is likely to get annoyed by it. Just like you should never pressure the customer to take up your offer. I recently saw someone offering an upsell and when I clicked no thanks I was asked again whether or not I wanted it. This really put me off this particular site and I soon unsubscribed.
When you plan your upsell do it nice and gently don’t go for the overkill just offer it to them on a plate. This way many will take up your offer and you can enjoy lots of automated sales.

Get a real Job…Did I hear you right?

Friday, November 25th, 2011

There seems to be a consistent theme running about. Entrepreneurs especially women are lacking the support from those closest to them. Being told to “Get a Real Job”or “Stop Playing at Business” “Who do YOU think You Are?” or even worse the silent treatment. I am wondering at this point what is a real job anyway now a days? There is no loyalty or security now a days at a “real job”.

To make matters worse these entrepreneurs are putting on a face to the rest of the world that everything is great.

Burning the candle at both ends will only hurt you in the long run. How do I know? Its happened to me. Have you ever had your significant other ask you how was your day and you just dread the question after a while? Have an acquaintance ask How is Business going and you say everything is great meanwhile clients are lacking and you are stressing over where you are going? What you are doing and why? Do you feel like crap because your family members do not even acknowledge you have a business? They think it is just a hobby. With supporters like these no need to worry about having enemies.

What happened to adventure, To freedom, To your vision of sharing your gifts with others to create a better world? It is not gone just lost in all the mind chatter you have going on plus all the negativity from those you thought would be your biggest cheerleaders.

Here are some tips to get you back on tract:

1. Start your day by reading a great autobiography or anything that will inspire you. Get great quotes to your inbox.

2. Twenty minutes of exercise.

3. Listen to others when they are speaking to you. Nothing brings us all back to the moment and engage in life then listening.

4. Ask yourself what your likes, dislikes, passions and desires are. DO NOT let others influence your answers. For example you really dislike sci fi movies yet watch them to please others.

5. Pushing past your boundaries. Getting uncomfortable and being OK with that. What makes you uncomfortable? Meeting new people? Then challenge yourself to meet someone new every week. A great place to do that is on Twitter or Face book. Do not judge yourself because you are afraid or feel you should have everything under control.

Take baby steps to change the situation. Be powerful and enjoy yourself, while ignoring the mind chatter and the comments from others. Be determined, passionate and driven towards your goals and keep open communication with those closest to you.

Are You Sabotaging Your Business With This Common Mistake?

Friday, November 25th, 2011

When you initiate contact with a prospect and they don’t respond, what do you do? Do you assume this person is not interested in what you are offering and move on to the next prospect? Or do you follow up with this person, offering them another opportunity to learn about your offer?

If you are not consistently following up with prospects you need to start doing so right now. Assuming a prospect is not interested in your offering and giving up could be costing you a significant amount of income! There are plenty of reasons other than a lack of interest why a prospect hasn’t responded to your initial contact including:

* They got preoccupied with a business project and haven’t had the time
* They never received your initial message
* They realize they need your product or service, but fear is holding them back from taking action

Following up with a prospect could be the push that person needs to do business with you!

I learned this lesson personally in my business and it has made a huge difference. Fear always stopped me from following up with prospects. I worried that I would be bothering them. I was afraid of putting myself in the position of being rejected by them; I felt it was better to hear nothing then to have a prospect actually tell me they weren’t interested.

However, I forced myself to step out of my comfort zone and push past my fear. What was the result? I started working with a new client! After that, it became second nature for me to follow up with prospects and it has become easier over time as well. I work with clients that I had to follow up with 3 or 4 times before getting a response, and 8 out of 10 prospects I follow up with become clients!

Let’s imagine a hypothetical situation. Pretend you offer consulting services to small business owners. You contact a prospective client to offer your services. After 3 days you haven’t gotten a response, so you contact your prospect again. You receive a message from your prospect requesting an appointment to further discuss your services.

During this meeting, your prospect becomes a client. After happily working together for a while, your client refers you to 2 other small business owners who could use your services. These 2 prospects also become your clients.

Now take into consideration what you charge for your services. Could you use that extra income? That is what you are giving up when you don’t follow up with prospects!

Following up exposes you to many possibilities for business growth. Don’t let fear stop you from seeing the success you want. Imagine what can happen in your business by consistently practicing this easy yet effective strategy!

First Time Buyers: Bright Side of Slumping Real Estate Prices

Friday, November 25th, 2011

Part of the reason for the current foreclosure situation is that people were buying homes they just couldn’t afford. This was due in no small part to the fact that home prices were increasing at unprecedented rates, and salaries could in no way keep up with these inflated prices.

If the real estate market becomes more realistically priced, is that really a bad thing?

NAR’s Housing Affordability Index (which measures the relationship between home prices, mortgage interest rates and family income) rose 10.9% in December 2008 to its highest level since tracking began in 1970.

In other words, more people can afford to buy homes now than in the last 39 years!

First-time buyers currently make up a full 41% of all buyers in the United States, and with the rising Housing Affordability Index, this percentage will probably grow. These first-time home buyers often have the strongest emotional response to homes that have been staged because they’ve never had the experience of buying a home before. Stagers help them see the home in its best light and help them imagine themselves living there.

Canada, with a total population of just over 33 million, is a much smaller real estate market. It has not experienced the same turmoil as the United States because of much stricter banking and lending laws. However, the Canadian real estate market has declined both in the total number of home sales and in average prices.

According to The Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA), national MLS home sales fell 17% in 2008 and are expected to fall an additional 16.9% to 360,900 units in 2009. They project a rebound in 2010 with total national home sales increasing 10% to 396,600 units. CREA President Calvin Lindberg says, “The essential selling ingredients in today’s market are realistic pricing, marketing, and preparation.”

Preparation = Home Staging!

Split up your coaching sessions to teach online business brainfriendly

Thursday, November 24th, 2011

Many coaches have an excellent knowledge base in their special skill. And still it is sometimes hard for them to get the knowledge “implemented” in the heads of their customers or students.
There are days when a coach would wish he could only give the students a “chip” or programme right in the brain to bring them from “Zero to Hero” like we saw it happening to Keanu Reeves in the famous movie “Matrix”.
I have stated before that it is not possible to become a hero overnight as your brain needs time to store that information.
So as a coach the very first goal to have is obviously to get the main message you want them to learn in that special session delivered for sure.
On many occasions I notice coaches want to give the best to their students and therefore “overdeliver”. This is a nice attitude – but on the other hand watching myself in that situation as student I feel overwhelmed and my brain is still busy making new connections with the basics just heardt. After the session I feel paralysed and frustrated.
So there is no way I can implement the details of a new task in the same session I learn the basics in. Therefore in my mind I feel overwhelmed, doubting if I ever can make it.
So after all I think it is better not to give them the 365 best tipps to get some tecnical stuff done, but only the top 3-5 arguments or tipps you really want them to know after the session.
The probability that the students gonna “get these” is just much higher. As coach you will then exactly know where the status quo of the learners is and not have the illusion that they know all my your 356 tactics to that theme, when they started just out. There is no from Zero to Hero overnight.
So by only delivering your 3-5 most important things you really want them to know, you can be pretty sure almost everybody has that knowledge afterwards. You can then start on a much better solid base of all your students in the next session.
Also knowing that the attention period of students is best in a period of 20-50 minutes it would be a good idea, too, to limit your sessions to that length and have two or three coaching sessions a week instead of one long one.
Also it is scientifically proven that the attention and learning skill is allways best at the beginning at the end of a learning session. The more sessions you make the more advantage you can take out of that effect.
Telling people exactly how to do something doesn`t mean they can apply that afterwards as the learning curve for knowledge and practical skills is totally different.
So less is more in many coaching sessions as we give the brain the time it needs. Overlearning at that stage is simply unproductive.
